Jay McDermott is a founding partner of Dmac Personnel with over 15 years experience across the Employment, Training and Community sector. He has developed a proven Indigenous capability in which he has successfully placed over 1000 Indigenous candidates into the workforce either directly through Apprenticeships & Traineeships or fulltime employment this is a result of the many Indigenous Employment Programs he has delivered throughout his career. He has acquired many skills and attributes throughout his professional career, which include large scale Recruitment and on boarding, Marketing, Program Management and Mentoring. His greatest influence has been through his own experience as the first Aboriginal person to become a Professional Golfer, Jay is a member of the PGA and he widely applies this determination when encouraging Indigenous participants in achieving there goals.
Craig Johnston is the consummate Labour Hire professional amassing 30 plus years of experience in the Recruitment and Labour Supply industry. Craig’s wealth of knowledge in all disciplines of the industry makes him a valuable member of the DMAC Personnel team.
Having held numerous positions within a variety of successful Labour Hire businesses, Craig started from the ground up and has a solid background in Construction and Engineering.
Craig has an extensive knowledge of recruitment, placement, payroll and administration in a number of industries and his attention to detail with award interpretation and payroll requirements ensures that all personnel are correctly remunerated in accordance with their respective agreement or award.
While Craig has proven himself to be competent in a number of disciplines Craig specialises in Workplace Health and Safety Management.
Immodjen first began her journey within the Employment and Recruitment sector when she left high school in 2008. Since then, she has procured over ten years of Customer Service, Administrative and Recruitment experience. Most recently, Immodjen’s greatest achievement has been successfully recruiting and onboarding over 300 employees for the Commonwealth Games 2018. Whilst she continues her main role of Recruitment Consultant for Dmac, Immodjen has completed studies within Workplace Health & Safety so she can continue to contribute to the business and industry in various ways.
Shakira came to Dmac as a result of our search for a talented and experienced payroll administrator to spearhead the completion of the intricate and complicated Commonwealth Games Payroll.
We are indeed fortunate that Shakira chose to stay on at Dmac after the Commonwealth Games as her Administrative and Payroll experience is wide-ranging and her attention to detail and problem solving skills are to be commended.
